Spring is Coming – Time to Plan for Senior Portraits!

Whether you call them Senior Pictures, Senior Photos, or Senior Portraits- now is the time to start planning for your High School Senior portrait session.

It’s been a very long winter up here – more snow than I’ve experienced since I moved here from Colorado in 2021. In addition to enjoying the beautiful weather to come, I’m looking forward to the new relationships I’ll build this year with new friends and clients (most of my clients end up becoming friends!).

I know it’s hard to think about family portraits now, but it’s actually the perfect time to start planning! I offer a limited amount of sessions each year, and they book up quickly. I can remember many parents frantically trying to secure Senior photography sessions with me late in the summer, and sometimes at or after school deadlines for photo submissions. It makes what should be a wonderful celebration of your child’s achievement, a stressful item to check off a list. It’s not fair to you or them. Take time now to start planning. Research the local photographers in your area. Have a budget in mind. Photography is an expensive investment so make sure you are creating beautiful works of art worthy of marking this milestone in your child’s life. The next time they have formal photographs taken will likely be their wedding. Do you want digital files that will sit in a desk drawer or beautifully framed artwork you see every day, that brings you back to that time in their life?

My Senior photography is completely customized. I offer 3 levels from a quick & simple session to extended sessions with multiple locations, wardrobe changes and props. Please call to discuss details and pricing. The Deposit secures the booking.
